What Customers Say About Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Dual-Core Processor, 2.66 GHZ, 4M L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB, LGA775:

Got it up to about 3.8GHZ, but between heat and stability issues I dropped it down. Bought this about 9 months ago and haven't looked back. Couldn't be happier. Forget what I paid, but it was a steal at the time. Have it running stable for months now on an ASUS P5B at 3.4GHZ at 33C/52C (idle/load). On a side note, for air cooling thermalright is the one to beat. Amazing cooler and without it I don't think this would've been possible.
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Dual-Core Processor, 2.66 GHZ, 4M L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB, LGA775I'm think buy a good productor for my computerEdwin Ortiz
I got it with overclocked from 2.66 to 3.2GHz with a big heatsink Thermaltake thyphon, and the results are quite parecidooa to a stock E8400. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.
The E6700 is another fine dual core processor from Intel. Even the q6700, a quad core, can be had for around the same price. Unfortunately, with the recent price drops on 45nm processors like the E8400, there is no reason to buy it. For virtually the same price, get an E8400 or for a little more, the E8500. The processor itself is excellent, just old.
I wish the information had been available on the product page because when it said compatible with all PC's I believed it. I was so bummed when I opened my chassis and saw that my motherboard was not compatible with this sweet piece of hardware. I had to go to the website enclosed in the user manual to verify that my motherboard was not compatible with this processor. The disappointment was ultra lame. Just be sure to verify compatibility before you buy.
